I chose this simple recipe because my kids love pasta. Plus, moms like me always look for the easiest cooking instructions, one that can be prepared in just 15 minutes. And so I created one! I hope everyone enjoys making this as much as we do.

Β Ingredients:
400 grams penne pastaΒ Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 brown onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 can peeled tomatoes
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon sugar
salt and ground black pepper (fresh)
100 grams Parmesan cheese
250 grams fresh mushroom
METHOD:
Step 1:
Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of salted boiling water following packet directions. Then drain and keep it aside.
Β Step 2:
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Then add the onion and garlic. Cook these uncovered and stir constantly for 3 minutes, or until it slightly softens.
Β Step 3:
After the onion and garlic are cooked, add the parsley and tomatoes. Increase heat to high, and bring to a boil. After it simmers, reduce the heat to medium then add sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir often (uncovered) for 6-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 4:
On a small pan, put a tablespoon of butter on medium heat, then add the fresh mushroom. Stir it and leave it for 2-3 minutes.
Β Step 5:
Add the cooked pasta and mushroom to the tomato sauce, then stir it together. Cover the dish and leave it on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Now, it’s time to enjoy your pasta meal! Don’t forget to serve it with some Parmesan cheese on top of your plate. Buon Appetito!
