Hello everybody, I am Olfat (@smells_delicious_), and I am a mother of two beautiful children, Hana and Adam. We’re originally from Egypt but now based in Dubai, UAE.

Let me express my passion for food by talking about its beauty. Food gives life meaning, and also a touch of elegance. It’s like you’re painting an exquisite piece of art, just like a painter.

When I was younger, I never thought I would enjoy my time cooking, especially when I got older. Honestly, food will bring you happiness, even if you’re cooking for the first time. You will get a feeling of joy and contentment when the meal you’ve cooked comes out successful.

There’s also a special feeling when you get to cook something delicious, especially when you see your kids appreciate the food that you’ve cooked just for them.

I also believe that cooking at home gives you the freedom to add whatever ingredients you desire. Whether you prefer to make the dish extra spicy or super sweet, the varieties are endless.

Cooking for yourself can help you enjoy a healthy lifestyle too, especially if you go on a diet. It can even cheer you up when you’re going through one of those dreary days. And if at any time you wish to break the rules and cheat, you can always go for a homemade burger with extra cheddar cheese, drizzled with the sauce you love, and a side of french fries.

If you feel bored, you can always spend hours baking the best cake out there, and then decorate it the way you want. You can also double the joy by inviting your friends for some tea and pastry, then have a girl’s night together. But if you’re in a hurry, you can go for the easiest and quickest recipes.

There are loads of delicious cuisines around the world. There’s Italian, French, Asian, Lebanese, American, and Egyptian. Oh, the list goes on!
