CHICKEN FRANKS PARATHA (SAUSAGE-STUFFED PARATHA) – LADIES WHO ONLINE
One of my passions is trying out new recipes with the ingredients at home. So as I was sitting and thinking of what to cook today, I suddenly thought of making Chicken Franks Paratha. As my hubby loves my cooking, I give him this treat with a twist.
INGREDIENTS:
(For Chicken Franks)
Masala
Chicken Franks
Onion
Tomato
Chilly powder
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Garam Masala powder
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil
(For Paratha)
Atta powder
METHOD
Cut the chicken franks into your desired shape (it is better to cut these into small pieces), then chop the onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves.
Make the masala using a pan and then add your sliced chicken franks into the pot. Next, add the chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, and a small amount of water. Mix all the ingredients using your hand, then add some oil. After this, put the pan on the stove and start sautéing it. Once the chicken franks start to cook, add in the chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves, then sauté again. Cook this dish until the onions are 3/4 cooked. Then keep it aside.
Now for the paratha, mix it like how you make dough for Chappathi. It is always better if you use a bit of warm water for the dough, as it creates a soft batch. Roll the mixture and make sure it is thin. After this, roll for the Chappathi. Next, fill the Chicken Franks Masala in the middle and fold it into your desired shape.
Heat a frying pan and apply some oil. Now, place the paratha into it, and then flip it after five seconds so that there is oil on both sides. Flip it and cook it continuously, so it won’t get burnt. You can also brush oil on the parathas before frying before you place them in the pot.
