FASHION IS A STATE OF MIND – Ladies Who Online
Fashion is a unique style of telling the world, “I love myself.” It can change from one second to another. But what remains consistent is the grip it keeps on individuals and among the masses. Its importance can be defined by daily examples, in a way that fashion has taken over almost all industries. You can see it in magazines and TV programs, and from people discussing different trends and whatnot. It’s something that is sweeping over the heads of women throughout the globe. For some people, fashion is just a runway. But for others, it’s both a passion and a feeling.
Fashion, for me, is also something that is economical. I feel happy about wearing and re-wearing articles like clothes, shoes, bags and so on. I hardly follow what is going around in the market. I just pick up my favorites and get dressed accordingly. There are no hard and fast rules. I like to dress up to please my own self and not society.
Trends in fashion define the perspective and likeness of the people at a particular period. By following the fashion parade, the diversity in fashion is lost (as everyone is following one specific art form), but the actual beauty of diversity in fashion allows men and women around the world to practice their own choice.
Winter is one of my favorite seasons of the year. I love to wear long coats, big bags, pullovers, sweatshirts, long boots, and whatnot. Unfortunately, I can’t pull out the complete and proper look for winter while living in the United Arab Emirates. But I still manage to live up to some of my fond fashion statements.
I also love to accessorize my looks, either those that come with printed clothing or plain ones. But styling both looks is pretty different, at least for me. For instance, if I’m wearing a printed, embellished, or embroidered dress/ top or blouse, I’d select minimal accessories to go with it. I’d also pick up a pair of earrings (depending on the hairstyle I’m adopting for the look), a watch, a bracelet, and a small pendant. Whereas, if I’m styling any plain tee or dress, I’d opt for some of the loud accessories to help compliment my entire outfit.
I personally like modest fashion looks, so I keep an eye on brands and stores that have such clothing ideas. It’s not like I don’t favor people who go for other fashion styles. I just prefer a more modest option for my style. That’s why I’m glad that some of the biggest and regular brands are now offering modest fashion in their stores, which gives us more variety.
I recently bought off and online (e.g., Black Friday Sale, Cyber Monday) several options that I can use for winter, and I am pleased with my shopping haul.
There are also some amazing luxury stores where (if you have deep pockets) you can shop your heart out like the Luxury Closet for example. But if you’re eyeing just a few regular fashion items, and you’re on a budget and not looking to invest in too many clothes and accessories (you’re probably going to use it only once given the other varieties for sale), then check out stores like Zara, Forever21, Bershka and Mango (amongst other brands I love). Trust me, these options never disappoint.
