INSTAGRAMMABLE PLACES IN NEW YORK CITY – LADIES WHO ONLINE

If you’re looking for a list of instagrammable places to visit in New York City, then you are in the right place! I went to the USA and was happy to have the chance to fly there before the pandemic started. I have a very long list and I don’t even know where to start as we only have 3days to spend there! Still, I wrote my long list of instagrammable places to visit in New York City even though I am not sure if I would be able to visit them all. 

So we flew from Dubai early in the morning and arrived at JFK airport around 5pm USA time. It’s like we spent 24 hours! 1 day gone just flying from UAE to JFK airport. Time difference is really something. We did plan it all as my husband suggested to arrive there late afternoon or at night so we can sleep and we are ready to enjoy the next day without headache and jet lag. 

The plan was a success, as we arrived there around 5-6pm, went to the hotel and walked around the neighborhood, had our first 1 dollar pizza, bigger than my face haha then we went back to the hotel, showered and slept all through the night! No jet lag at all.  The next morning, nobody wants breakfast even though they paid for 3 days worth of it. We woke up, had some coffee, dressed up and started walking around 8-9am and found instagrammable places in New York City.

First place is The Flatiron Building. Located in the Flatiron District. Of course! You wouldn’t want to miss a photo opportunity here as this is one of the famous buildings when visiting places in New York City. A cute park is located right across Flatiron building and a seating area right in front of it so you have a lot of photo ideas when you visit.

Second place I recommend of course Carrie Bradshaw Apartment! This is on the way after the Flatiron Building. I’m sure we all love her character and have seen the movie Sex and the City! I heard they’re making a comeback but without Samantha, we’ll see! Her apartment is very easy to find and the walk from our hotel to her apartment is really nice. The weather was beautiful. We were there in August. 

Third place to recommend is The Oculus Building. The Oculus is the World Trade Center Transportation Hub with train station, plaza and shopping mall located just right in front of the world trade centre memorial. We didn’t stay much here, as it was about to rain and we have to walk and catch the last HOHO bus ride home. We did go inside and walk around a bit. It is such a unique place and structure. I love the white color and how clean it looks from the inside and outside of the building. If you’re somewhere around, I am sure you won’t miss it! The Building is huge!
