ABOUT US:

Life abroad can be a big challenge, especially for those who live away from home. So offering a support system that would help ease some of the blues and worries away, which can be a huge morale booster, might just be the key to a more comfortable and happier life abroad.

This personal struggle became an inspiration to a group of friends (who shared the same love for blogging and social media) to widen their network by meeting other like-minded ladies in the UAE, and by establishing a social connection and a sense of community.

The meaning behind the LADIES WHO name was created to highlight the many hats that women wear daily. Surely, you’ve met ladies who love to eat out, practice yoga, travel the world, attend beauty fairs, model in fashion runways, cook meals for the family, and organize events (amongst other things). Fortunately enough, these amazing women all came together ONLINE, in hopes of meeting everyone in person.

Thus, LADIES WHO ONLINE was born, a community built to connect women from all walks of life.

Since January, monthly gatherings have been organized as a means for all the ladies to meet in the flesh, and to bond, catch-up, and collaborate through shared interests – whether it was playing human bingo at a cafe in Burjuman, enjoying yoga by Jumeirah beach, doing a Mukbang eating session at a dessert place while vlogging, or relishing a much-needed pamper time at the salon. By coming together, the possibilities of making life in the UAE a better and more enjoyable place are endless.

MISSION

Our mission is to reach out to all the women in the UAE to come together and to help improve their roles in their own lives and society through genuine collaborations and acts of kindness.

We strive to create platforms for the ladies that will inspire and enable them to feel fulfilled through personal advancement (Eg. community participation, health, and wellness, social skills), and aim to encourage them to support new and existing ventures to stay sustainable through the help of blogging and social media.
